The yellow warbler
We all love adventure, but this guy rocks. He’s flown up from South America. Flying mostly at night and feeding in a thousand thickets on his way to my place.
A fine and frisky fellow he is nesting by my washroom. I watch as he flits frenetically through the fronds. 😉
Save our Raptors: Please don’t poison
I think we all enjoy the return of golden eagles. What delight in the swooping hawk and thrill hearing the hoot of an owl in darkest night.

Yet, scavenged poisoned critters are causing 2/3s of all raptor deaths says a recent study.
So please, protect your garden, but don’t poison.
